      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>I was born in Manhattan and spent most of my early-years growing up in rural Pine Island – about a 2-hour drive west of the city. I attended boarding school in Connecticut before heading off to Ithaca College, graduating in 2009. I am an avid pool player, avocational carpenter, and adequate sailor. Formerly a baseball player, I now satiate my sports thirst playing on company and social softball teams. I currently live in Williamsburg, and am happy to perform passable impressions of celebrities and co-workers - be it unsolicited or upon request.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood - Cabinet</image:title>
<image:caption>Serves as a more-than-suitable bedside table. I used a router for the floating panels (doors/sides, rail and stile bits), and trim (high molding bit). Inside is open, save for a little shelf for organizing smaller items. Pine / cherry stain / semi-gloss polyurethane.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood - Charcuterie Boards</image:title>
<image:caption>Started making these as gifts this past holiday season. The boards are maple and walnut, and added a red oak handle for some of them.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood - S-Stand / Shelf</image:title>
<image:caption>My stab at a popular style, with galvanized steel pipes for support. It now lives in our apt as a music/book/board gaming center.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood - Matchbox Kit</image:title>
<image:caption>I had some scrap walnut and red oak left over from another project, and thought this would be a great use for it. It holds the sleeve of the matchbox in place for easy striking, and a 1.25” flat-bottomed hole provides a convenient place for the matches to live. NOTE: The design itself is not mine, it was inspired by one in a photograph shared by a friend. If you’ve seen a similar piece, and know who made it, please let me know. I’d like to credit the design to it’s original creator : )</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood - Coffee Table</image:title>
<image:caption>Modest, "city-friendly" size. Like a few other of my projects, I used a biscuit cutter, wood glue and vice grips to extend the top surface. Then ran it through the planer, and the result is seamless. Used the router (molding bit) for trim. Pine / walnut stain / semi-gloss polyurethane.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood - Bedside Table</image:title>
<image:caption>I made this for my girlfriend's birthday. She used to have a flimsy nightstand with hardly enough space to house a cell phone and modest glass of water at the same time. Placing even the smallest personal items on it was a not-so-fun game of Jenga. Between the top surface, bottom shelf, and drawer, this offers quite a bit more real estate. No elaborate trim, as I went with a more minimalist approach here. This was my first project using dual-tone stains, though, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Pine / dark walnut and cherry stain / satin polyurethane.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood - Corner Bar</image:title>
<image:caption>Personal fave. I used a router for the floating panels on the side (rail and stile bits), and trim (molding bit). Bottom wine rack holds 1.5L bottles on the far left/right columns, and 750ml in the middle four. Pine / ebony stain / semi-gloss polyurethane.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood - Vinyl Cases</image:title>
<image:caption>Found this to be a useful solve for organizing our modest vinyl collection without sacrificing aesthetics. Two cases on 6” sliders, with plexiglass-framed front to showcase the artwork. They slide out for easy access from beneath the shelf, hold ~20 vinyls each, and the visible cover art adds a nice touch of decor. Pine / dark walnut stain / satin polyurethane.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood - Presentation Board</image:title>
<image:caption>I made this for my girlfriend’s cross-stitch business (@makestichesgetmoney). She was starting to participate in craft fairs around Brooklyn, and needed a nice board to showcase her work. I used Walnut here, laced with red oak at the top to create the striped effect at the top. It is freestanding, with matching walnut legs that kick out from the back, and collapse neatly for easy transportation. Walnut / red oak / Minwax Antique Oil finish.</image:caption>
